|  We cordially invite you to attend the Third International Congress on Reconstructive Neurosurgery "Recons2012" organized by The Dept. of Neurosurgery at the Kiel University Medical Campus and the „International Society for Reconstructive Neurosurgery“ under the auspices of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.
Major topics will include all kinds of neurosurgical therapies to improve functional restoration after various injuries incl. Neurodegeneration, Stroke, Head and Spine Injury. From bench to bedside, these therapies from deep brain and spinal cord stimulations, cell transplants to stabilization and reconstruction procedures to the spine, which have evolved often in an empirical fashion, will be presented by internationally renowned experts and evaluated scientifically.
We expect approx. 200 scientists, mostly neurosurgeons and neurologists, but also molecular biologists, neurobionics and rehabilitation specialists, and others.
The major part of this conference will be held on the Kiel University Campus, but also tours are planned to rehab hospitals and industrial companies involved in this matter, in northern Germany incl. Hamburg and Berlin.
Since you are a specialist in this field, we would like to invite you to actively participate in the Third International Congress on Reconstructive Neurosurgery and to contribute to its success with a presentation of your favorite topic.
